Toronto 🍽️ | Quetzal: Not the Most Beautiful, but Delicious Michelin Restaurant

Probably one of the least visually appealing meals I’ve had, but oh so tasty! 😄 We dived straight in and enjoyed every bite. What We Had 🌮: Dry Aged Amberjack Aguachile: This is aged amberjack. It’s good but nothing extraordinary. Empanada Oaxaquena: Lamb taco with no gamey taste, just pure delicious lamb flavor. The corn tortilla was soaked in the rich lamb fat, and the accompanying salsa was tangy and appetizing. I kept wanting more! 😂 Bone Marrow and Wild Argentinian Shrimp: I usually think shrimp lacks satisfaction as a protein, but paired with rich beef bone marrow, it was a match made in heaven! The marrow was like butter spread on warm, soft tortillas. Rolled with juicy grilled shrimp, it was messy but incredibly tasty. I couldn’t stop making sounds of delight! 😋 Dry Aged Hudson Valley Duck Breast: This dish features perfectly grilled duck breast with a sauce made from chili pearls and onions. It’s a rich and drool-worthy experience 🤤. Desserts 🍮: Coconut Nicuatole: A sweet coconut cream paired with pineapple. It reminded me of the joy of eating only the frosting from cakes as a kid! Drinks 🍸: Sin Moda Mexicana: Fruity and refreshing with a spice-salted rim and the herbal notes of mezcal—it’s a perfect match. Burro Borrach: A solid choice, it’s hard to go wrong with this one. No Heather, It’s Heather’s Turn: A healthy drink that tastes like a detox smoothie with pineapple added—super tasty and refreshing! 📝 Other Notes: The service was quick! I didn’t have to wait hungry for my food. Everything was excellent. Full and satisfied, I’ll definitely be back! #TorontoLife #TorontoEats #TorontoRestaurant #RestaurantReview #FoodRecommendation ### Name: Quetzal Address: 419 College St, Toronto, ON M5T 1T1 Type: Restaurant ###
