Toronto’s Affordable Gem Chantecler 🥂 – Great for Photos and Delicious Eats
Visited this gem with friends over the weekend and managed to snag a 5 PM reservation when the restaurant had just opened. We were the only table there, so we took full advantage to snap some photos 📷. The ambiance is a classic French vibe, perfect for those Instagram-worthy shots. I’d recommend sitting at the bar by the entrance or in the cozy corner sofa 🛋️. The staff was super friendly, and when I asked if we could take photos, they agreed without hesitation. ▫️ Paté en Croute: The foie gras was smooth and delicate, and the pastry was perfectly crisp. A solid choice! 👍 ▫️ Roasted Mushrooms: Nothing too remarkable, but still good. ▫️ Duck Liver Mousse: I actually preferred this over the paté en croute! The duck liver mousse paired with grape jelly is a great way to cut through richness. The only downside was that the accompanying crackers were sweet, which made the overall taste a bit on the sweet side. ▫️ Half of a Duck: A classic dish with succulent, rich duck meat and the savory aroma from the curing. Delicious! ▫️ Whole Sea Bream: The fish was fresh, and the crispy skin was a delight. It was topped with cilantro (I’m not a fan of cilantro, so I scraped it off 😂). Still highly recommended! Overall, a very satisfying meal. With tax and tips, it came to about CAD 88 per person. Classic dishes are always a safe bet 🤩 #TorontoDining #TorontoRestaurants #TorontoDowntown #TorontoDT #TorontoEats #TorontoLiving #TorontoFoodie ### Name: Chantecler Address: Toronto, ON, Canada Type: Restaurant ###
