Toronto's Best Calamari 🦑 Hidden Gem Restaurant

This hidden gem of a restaurant feels more like a factory—haha! The entire place is massive, with 16,000 sqft of space. The main attraction is the enormous kitchen on the first floor. They even have a section at the entrance that serves as their stock area, where you can find their homemade pasta, desserts, and a wide selection of wines available for purchase. The dining area is on the second floor. The coolest part? You can clearly see your food being prepared and watch as it comes straight out of the oven (follow it with your eyes all the way)! The environment is also quite peaceful, with hardly anyone around. Here’s what we ordered: 🦑 Calamari Fritti: This is a must-order at every table! Super crispy, and the calamari is delightfully tender and fresh. It’s nothing like the frozen stuff you find in many other places. 🍅 Tagliatelle Alla Bolognese Pasta: Classic tomato meat sauce pasta with those wide, flat noodles. The pasta here is on the firmer side but still delicious! It’s likely handmade, and the sauce is rich and flavorful. 🍝 Tonnarelli Alla Norcina: I had the meat sauce with black truffle—so rich in truffle flavor! Absolute joy! The meat chunks are generously sized and full of flavor (unlike some places where the meat sauce has tiny, flavorless bits). We were so full after just these three dishes! I wanted to try the Italian desserts—they looked so good! I noticed that pizza is also a popular choice at many tables, so maybe next time! 🅿️: Street parking available nearby. #Toronto #LifeInToronto #Foodie #TorontoEats #TorontoRestaurants #TorontoDowntown ### Name: Terroni Sud Forno Produzione e Spaccio (Spaccio East) Address: 22 Sackville St, Toronto, ON M5A 3E2 Type: Restaurant ###
