Toronto|Snowy days are perfect for a delicious and beautiful dinner date!
Discovered another hidden gem with my besties – a cozy and unique Michelin-recommended restaurant! Their menu changes every week, which is one of their special features. The soft pink ambient lighting combined with warm yellow tones creates a romantic sunset vibe inside 🧡 🌅 Steelhead Trout Tartare: This tartare is made with top-quality ingredients! Sashimi-style trout + smoked whitefish + caviar + rye croutons + cucumber + special cheese, all served with their homemade focaccia. Each bite is so satisfying!! 🌅 Branzino: Their signature grilled sea bass is perfectly cooked with butter, giving it a rich flavor. Paired with olives, it's rare to find such tender and fresh sea bass at an Italian restaurant, and the seasoning is just right. 🌅 Ontario Bavette: My favorite dish of the night – grilled beef with a seasoning reminiscent of Chinese cumin BBQ. It’s served over slow-braised oxtail, all super tender and juicy. Paired with sweet potato purée, the sweet and savory combination is absolutely delicious! The crispy kale adds a perfect touch of color to the dish. 🌅 Persimmon Pavlova: As soon as I saw a persimmon dessert on the menu, I ordered it without hesitation! This is a layered, delicate dessert – the outer shell made of persimmon meringue, filled with chestnut cream and fruits, topped with a crunchy vanilla biscuit, and sprinkled with cinnamon-infused caramel. The flavor is great, not too sweet, though the connection to persimmons feels a bit loose. You can really taste the chef’s dedication in every dish, and each one is quite unique. I also love the ambiance here – definitely a restaurant worth returning to! #TorontoFoodie #TorontoEats #FoodieAdventures #FoodReview #DateNight #CozyRestaurant #RestaurantRecommendation ### Restaurant Name: Wynona Toronto Address: Toronto, ON, Canada Type: Restaurant ###
