Toronto | Tasting Menu with Unbeatable Value 💰
A true gem for us budget-conscious girls – affordable but satisfying tasting menu! 🤭 The dishes are pretty standard overall, but a few are actually quite delicious! My standard: if 2/3 of the menu is edible, it passes the test! 💪 This spot is great for a first-time tasting menu experience or a casual date dinner. It's all about value for money here: canapé + 4 courses + dessert, which adds up to 11 small but delightful dishes. Plus, they don’t charge tips, all for $140! In Toronto, that’s really something to appreciate. 🥹 The only similar option in town might be George (that omakase tasting menu spot). So as long as this place doesn’t disappoint, it’s worth a try! Bonus: they change the menu every two weeks, so their quality control is pretty solid too. 👌 Here’s the rundown: Canapés: Four small bites, all pretty good 👍 Mushroom Soup: Creamy with a slight saltiness 🍄 Guinea Fowl: Like a terrine, leaner than chicken but still packed with flavor 🦆 Mackerel: Winter fish at its finest—fatty and fragrant 🐟 Suckling Pig: I’m usually not a fan of pork, but their roasted suckling pig with crispy ham was quite interesting! 🐷 If the ratio of skin to ham was a bit better, it would have been even more excellent. The crispy skin was especially well done. Lastly, I would suggest skipping the wine pairing for $79 – the wines were pretty average. Just grab a bottle instead. 🍷 #TorontoEats #TorontoFoodie #TastingMenu #TorontoRestaurant ### Name: Richmond Station Address: 1 Richmond Street West (Yonge Street), Toronto ON M5H3W4, Canada Type: Restaurant ###
