πŸš‚ Train Station Ruins - Bukit Timah Hill - Little Guilin πŸŒ„

πŸš‚ Train Station Ruins - Bukit Timah Hill - Little Guilin πŸŒ„ πŸ“ Starting Point: Meet at King Albert Park MRT at 8:30 AM. Exit the A exit and turn left, walk 200m, then turn left again to see The Corridor. A few steps further, you'll spot the yellow train. πŸšΆβ€β™€οΈ After the Train: Head back towards Woodlands, crossing the (black one), and continue straight for over an hour to enter Bukit Timah Nature Reserve. You'll see a small path on the left, Hindhede entrance, which leads you around to the base of Bukit Timah Hill. ⛰️ Bukit Timah Hill: Climbing Bukit Timah Hill, which is just over a hundred meters, takes about 30 minutes. There's a large slope right at the entrance; it doesn't look steep in photos, but it's quite tiring to climb... 🚢 Descending and Continuing: After descending, head towards Bukit Batok Nature Park, and in about an hour, you'll arrive at Little Guilin. It's a quirky place; I sent my dad a photo and said I was in Little Guilin, and he asked, "Who came up with that name?" It feels like someone is telling you they're in Suzhou Gardens while standing at a corner of your local park. 🍚 Lunch: After about three hours of walking, we found a Northeastern Chinese restaurant nearby in an industrial park. It was a half-hour bus ride or walk, so we decided to walk, and the food was surprisingly good![^16^] πŸƒβ€β™‚οΈ Total Distance: The total distance was 8 miles, about 13km. My friend thought it was 8km, but it turned out to be more, which was quite impressive! This route is hotter and more exposed to the sun compared to MacRitchie, but walking and chatting with friends made it quite enjoyable![^16^] #Singapore #Hiking #BukitTimahHill #TrainStationRuins
