When I was in Pittsburgh, I visited Frank Lloyd Wright’s famous Fallingwater! Back then, Pittsburgh suffered from severe air pollution due to its many steel mills, so the wealthy often built their homes away from the city in areas with fresher air. 🤎 Fallingwater is open to the public entirely thanks to the Kaufmann family’s wishes. They not only donated the house but also insisted that all interior decorations, furnishings, and furniture remain exactly as they were for visitors to appreciate. The tour is generously designed—no rooms are roped off, and every corner of every room is open for exploration. 🤎 Moreover, when the Kaufmanns were away, they welcomed their servants and their families to stay in Fallingwater.
