Travel Diary of Córdoba, Argentina – The Soulful City of South America

Córdoba is Argentina’s second-largest city, located in its central region. I thought, why not visit? Here’s what I did over three days: Villa Carlos Paz 🏞️ – A charming lakeside town nestled in the mountains, just about 40 km from Córdoba. Didn’t expect such a relaxing spot! Took a cable car for a panoramic view, strolled around, and soaked in the vibe. Returned to Córdoba in the afternoon and wandered near Plaza San Martín, visiting churches and watching pigeons flutter about. 🕊️⛪ La Cumbrecita 🏡 – A quaint, Swiss-German-style village perched in the hills. Took a day trip from Córdoba, passing by a massive dam on the way. Had three hours to explore, eat, and enjoy the European-like scenery—Argentina’s version of "small bridges, flowing water, and cozy homes." 🌉🍃 Horseback Riding in the Countryside 🐴 – Headed to El Manzano, about 50 km from Córdoba (by bus or taxi). Started with a leisurely tea break while the horses got ready. Then, off we went for a 1-hour ride through the mountains. Returned to the ranch for a classic Argentine countryside asado (BBQ) 🥩🔥. In the afternoon, another 1.5-hour ride on a different trail. Pro tip: Wear long sleeves and pants—this was a real mountain adventure, ducking branches and weaving through trails! But oh, what a blissful experience—galloping through nature, lost in thought, with sunlight filtering through the trees. 🌳💫 #GottaLoveSomething #Argentina #StudyInArgentina #TravelTheWorld #OnceAWanderer 🌎✈️
