Travel Plog | Singing "Queencard" in Cuenca š«µ
šµ "Queencard Iām hot⦠Iām a star star starā¦" Cuenca is a city of bold contrastsācolorful houses cling to cliffs, rivers carve through bizarre rock formations, and the vibe shifts from "eerily empty" to "tourist-packed plazas". Yet, itās absolutely worth the tripāespecially on a sunny day! āļø šæ My Route: 1ļøā£ Torre de Mangana ā The tower itself is meh, but the panoramic views? Worth every step. Watch the landscape morph from emerald forests to golden hills. 2ļøā£ Plaza Mayor ā Frozen cafĆ© con leche in hand (seriously, pack a jacketāitās freezing up here!). 3ļøā£ Cuenca Cathedral ā Even if youāre cathedral-fatigued, this Gothic gem (with its unfinished facade) will wow you. Photo fails to capture its magic. 4ļøā£ Hanging Houses (Casas Colgadas) ā Iconic! Peer over the balconies dangling above the abyss. Tea inside? Cute. Surviving the bridge wobbles? Priceless. 5ļøā£ San Pablo Bridge ā Looks sturdy until youāre white-knuckling the railings. š Transport Tips: From Madrid: Renfe train: Faster, but drops you far from town (take bus L1 to Plaza Mayorāruns every 30min, hourly on weekends). Avanza bus: Slower, but walks you straight downtown. š° Cash only for buses (ā¬2.15)! āļø Reality Check: Altitude = CHILLY. We shivered through lunch in Plaza Mayor. Best for road trips! Without a car, youāll miss hidden gems (we killed just 5 hours here). #Cuenca #MadridDayTrip #HangingHouses #SpainTravel
