Travel Recap | Salvador Travel Guide: Central America Travel
I came to El Salvador, once known as the world’s most dangerous country, alone. Let me share a guide on how to explore here—pure !The Christmas and New Year vibes are so strong here! Merry Christmas!🎄 🌟El Salvador, a small country in Latin America, was once considered a country with the highest crime rate. But now, things have improved, and it has become a safe and travel-friendly small country. Feel free to immerse yourself in Latin American culture and natural scenery—of course, you still need to stay vigilant. 🌟El Salvador allows entry with a U.S. or Canadian visa—it’s super easy! 🌟Key attractions in the central square of the capital, San Salvador: 📍National Palace of El Salvador: You can visit during the day. There are light shows at night on holidays. Don’t miss the sign at the entrance. 📍Metropolitan Cathedral: It’s grand and beautiful, and the interior is also open to visitors—a must-visit spot. 📍National Library: A modern library aided by China. Its design represents volcanoes and waves, very "El Salvador" style. 📍Liberty Plaza 📍Morazan Plaza and National Theater of San Salvador 📍Sacred Heart of Jesus Market: A big market worth exploring. 🌟🌟Besides these, it’s recommended to book a day tour outside the city. I originally planned to take the tour to Santa Ana Volcano and a lake to experience the volcano and volcanic lake. But note that they are closed during Christmas and New Year, so I had to switch to another tour—and luckily met an amazing guide, Dave! 👍El Boquerón Volcano + Santa Ana Old Town + Lake Coatepeque 📍El Boquerón Volcano: An easy-to-climb volcano where you can overlook the crater. 📍Santa Ana: The second-largest city, with a colorful old town that’s perfect for photos and has a literary vibe. 📍Lake Coatepeque: A huge volcanic lake. Here, you can enjoy a local dinner to the tune of local songs, watch a stunning sunset, and feel the beauty of nature. 🌟🌟When you return to the capital San Salvador at night, it’s still peaceful. Go to the central square again to check out the night view and feel the New Year atmosphere. 🌟🌟There are also many other tours available: 📍Santa Ana Volcano: To see the green crater. 📍Maya ruins 📍Surf City: By the seaside. #2024TravelRecap #TheSceneryIVisitedThisYear #2024ThoseWhoMovedUnderstand #MyAnnualPassion #SetOffFirst #TravelNotForCheckingIn #OffTheBeatenPath #RoundTheWorldTravel #WhereToGoOnHoliday
