TRES Summerlin | Vegas Food Diary 🍽️

Restaurant: TRES Summerlin Date of Visit: August 2025, Lunch Food Rating: 6/10 ✨ The popular restaurant Tres Cazuelas, originally near Chinatown, has opened a new location in Summerlin! (Is this a new trend? 😆) Honestly, this place has always been one of those spots that’s great when it’s nearby, but not worth a long trip. So, having it open closer to home is pretty exciting! 🙌 Short Rib Skewer: Topped with chimichurri sauce—how could it be bad? It was juicy and flavorful, just the way I like it! 🥩 Pork Belly: The apricot sauce was delicious as always. The pork belly was a bit on the dry side, but the grilled yellow peach served with it was a tasty touch. 🍑 Lamb Chop: The lamb was cooked better this time, but there wasn’t enough bell pepper sauce. I found myself scraping the plate for more! 🍖 Bottomless Paella: When I walked in, I saw a huge pan of paella in the middle of the dining room. At first, I thought it was just a decoration—kind of a unique idea, right? But it turned out to be the real deal! If you order the paella from the brunch menu, they serve it from that giant pan. Unfortunately, that means the rice is already lukewarm by the time it reaches your table. It lacked the aromatic burst of spices and seafood you’d expect from a freshly made paella, and the rice was a bit overcooked. If you want to try paella here, I’d recommend ordering it à la carte instead. 🥘 Have you been to TRES Summerlin? What did you think?
