It's so relaxing and lively! [🎉]🍻🥂 The "Bon Odori" at Tsukiji Honganji 🌟 (which can be understood as the "Obon Festival Community Dance Party") is one of the largest temple Bon Odori events in Tokyo. People of all ages, men and women, young and old, dance around the central "yagura" (a raised platform) to the tunes of several classic Bon Odori songs. 🎶💃🕺 🌆🌿 PS Tsukiji Honganji is a famous Buddhist temple located in Tokyo's CBD, affiliated with the Jodo Shinshu sect. It was originally built in 1617 (during the Edo period) in Asakusa but was relocated to its current site after a fire. The temple was reconstructed from 1931 to 1934 by the renowned architect Ito Chuta and is currently undergoing a new round of renovations. 🌆🌿 The architectural style blends Indian and Western classical elements, making it look like a combination of a Buddhist temple and an ancient shrine.
