Tsukiji Market Food Guide: Avoiding Pitfalls (1)🌟
After a 6-year gap, my recent trip to Tokyo had me eagerly returning to Tsukiji Market for its renowned seafood delights like sea urchin rice bowls, tuna, and teppanyaki. Here’s how to make the most of your visit: 📍 Navigation Tip: Search for “Tsukiji Outer Market” and take the Oedo Line. 🌿🌟The market operates from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. I recommend arriving early to beat the crowds. 1️⃣ Tsukiji Tora Jizo Uni Don This spot is famous for its sea urchin rice bowl, featuring five types of fresh and abundant sea urchin. 🌿🌟Besides the uni don, they offer various sets, and their salmon donburi is also a hit. I suggest saving this for later in your visit, as it’s quite filling. I arrived around 11:00 AM and waited in line for about 30 minutes. 2️⃣ Marutake Tamago-yaki Their thick tamagoyaki has a cheesecake-like texture—soft and fluffy. 🌿🌟 However, it might be a bit too sweet for some, so sharing is recommended. Nearby is another tamagoyaki shop, Yamacho, which is also worth a try. 3️⃣ Iba Teppanyaki This place offers a generous portion of teppanyaki beef. The aroma of the grilled meat is irresistible, and the chef’s skill in slicing and grilling ensures tender, flavorful bites. 🌿🌟 The portion is large, so it’s perfect for a group of 3-4 people. #TokyoFoodie #TsukijiMarket 🌟
