Two brushes 🌟 one Korean meal! You'll come back!

My second visit to JUA was even better than the first—if that’s possible! 😍 The dishes might look similar at first glance, but the flavors felt more refined this time, and there were a few new standout dishes that really wowed me. JUA is still so worth a visit! 1️⃣ Caviar Kim – Caviar sushi! It’s piled high with caviar, with raw beef and avocado underneath, and the nori is on the thicker side. So good—salty, creamy, and satisfying all at once ✨ 2️⃣ Shima Aji sashimi – The fish was super fresh, and the seasoning was light, letting the natural flavor of the fish shine through. Simple but perfect 🐟 3️⃣ Abalone porridge – The broth is rich and thick, but the rice grains stay distinct—such a nice texture! It’s creamy and fragrant, and adding abalone (which I didn’t do last time) takes it to another level. The abalone adds a chewy, briny bite that makes the whole dish more layered. So much better with it! 4️⃣ Pan-seared sea bass (Branzino) – Hands down the best Branzino I’ve ever had! 🤯 The skin is crispy and shatteringly thin, while the flesh is tender and flaky. The sauce is the star, though—they mixed smoky notes with a creamy richness, and it’s chef’s kiss. My favorite dish of the meal! 5️⃣ Lamb chops & small plates – The lamb chops are tender, with barely any tough sinew, and the little side dishes that come with them are all and delicious. Everything pairs so well together 🥩 6️⃣ Orange sorbet – Bright, zesty orange flavor—super refreshing, especially after richer dishes. Cleanses the palate perfectly 🍊 7️⃣ Sweet potato donuts – They taste just like the sweet potato balls you’d find at Taiwanese night markets! The outside is caramelized and slightly crispy, and the inside is chewy and soft. Yum! They come with black sesame ice cream, but I think the salty cheese ice cream from my last visit paired better—still tasty, though 😊 ⛳️ JUA 36 E 22nd St, New York, NY 10010 Like 💗 Save ⭐️ Follow 🙋🏻‍♀️ Check my profile for more NYC eats! #NewYorkFoodie #NewYorkFoodGuide #NewYorkEats #NewYorkLife #NewYorkWeekend #NYCDateSpots #NewYorkKoreanFood #JUA #NYCFoodReview
