Two-Day Road Trip in Nebraska โ Part 2 ๐
Did you know Omaha, Nebraska, is home to both the #1 ranked zoo and an incredible Wildlife Safari Park? ๐๐ฆ We skipped the famous Omaha Zoo this time โ itโs the largest in the U.S., with massive indoor desert ๐ต, rainforest ๐ด, and aquarium ๐ exhibits โ but it takes a full day to explore! Instead, we went to the Wildlife Safari Park โ a 4-mile driving trail where you can see bears, wolves, bison, elk, and more ๐ป๐บ๐ฆ! It also offers: Interactive indoor animal exhibits Walking trails A petting zoo ๐ Elevated viewing platforms Itโs the only interactive wildlife drive-through experience in the U.S.! Next, we visited the Omaha Childrenโs Museum (๐ free for ASTC members). Itโs one of the most hands-on childrenโs museums in the country โ everything is designed for play and learning ๐๐ง . Kids can even see how a piano works ๐น and explore how music is made! Our little one played for 3 hours straight and didnโt want to leave ๐. Thereโs also an outdoor playground โ a true paradise for children! Finally, we stopped at The Durham Museum โ a dual-themed museum inside a historic Union Station ๐.
