Two Magical Days in Madrid ✨ A Perfect Itinerary
Who said Madrid is boring? 🥹 These two days were pure happiness! Madrid's attractions are compact yet rich, giving us plenty of time for city walks and spontaneous discoveries 🧳 ✨ Itinerary 📝 Day 1: Prado Museum (Garden of Earthly Delights) → Cibeles Square → Alcalá Gate (across from Retiro Park) → Retiro Park → Riu rooftop for sunset 🌇 📝 Day 2: Puerta del Sol (Bear & Strawberry Tree) → Plaza Mayor → Royal Palace → Plaza de España → Temple of Debod for sunset (best city views!) ⛲️ Must-Visit Spots 🫶🏻 Prado Museum Seeing Las Meninas and Bosch’s Garden of Earthly Delights in person—mind-blowing! 🎨 🫶🏻 Retiro Park Walked where Sanmao & José once wandered. As "The Unreturned Rainy Season" echoed in my mind, a street accordionist played, and later, an elderly choir sang under the trees. "For a moment, I joined their utopia." 🌳🎶 🫶🏻 Temple of Debod Cloudy skies couldn’t ruin the magic here. We listened to strangers singing, watched the city glow at dusk, and lingered until the last light faded. 🌆 📝 Food Picks ⭕️ Pan y (2025’s best coffee ☕—go for the vibe!) ⭕️ Tapa Spana (Must-order: seafood paella & lamb chops with peppers!) ⭕️ Caracola (Antón Martín) (Best Basque cheesecake ever—better than Barcelona’s! 😋) ⭕️ Lavaca (Book ahead! Steakhouse with huge portions 🥩) ⭕️ Sichuan Kitchen (Okay, fine… it’s that good. 🌶️) Madrid’s soul? Its art, its parks, and most of all— the warm, funny people we met. Leaving felt like saying goodbye to a friend. 🫂 #MadridMagic #SpainTravel #PerfectItinerary #CityWalks #ArtAndSoul #TravelDiaries #Wanderlust
