Two-Michelin-Starred French Cuisine in Paris - Marsan

I happened to meet a colleague in Paris for a day, and we just had to book a Michelin-starred French restaurant! 🌟 The kitchen is helmed by chef Hélène Darroze, who was recently promoted from one to two Michelin stars in 2023. The restaurant specializes in cuisine from southwestern France, featuring an array of rich seafood ingredients like blue lobster, oysters, and scallops. The dishes, ambiance, and presentation are all top-notch. 🍽️ 🦞🦞 Blue Lobster : The fresh blue lobster, with its sweet and chewy meat, is always a favorite in high-end cuisine. The blue lobster is simply cooked, with minimal fuss, and served with a flavorful seafood soy sauce that enhances its natural taste. It's incredibly delicious! 🦞 🥩🥩 Wagyu Beef : The A5 Japanese Wagyu beef is cooked to a perfect medium-rare, melting in your mouth with every bite. The marbling is exquisite, and the tenderness and juiciness of the meat are truly exceptional. 🍖 🐟🐟 Marinated Tuna Toro : This appetizer is both unique and delicious. Unlike the typical treatment in Japanese Omakase, the Toro is marinated and sliced into thin, skin-on pieces, arranged beautifully on the plate. The flavor is incredibly fresh and distinctive—a truly high-quality dish. 🍣 🥒🥒 Bamboo Shoots Forest : Fresh and sweet bamboo shoots are cut into thin strips and arranged upright on the plate, resembling a forest. A touch of mayonnaise on the side completes this simple yet delightful dish. 🌿 Unfortunately, my colleague and I got so caught up in enjoying our drinks 🍷🍷 that we didn't get to ask about many of the dishes.
