Two Popular Vegas Buffets I Tried 🍽️🎰

You can’t visit Vegas without trying a buffet – so I followed the hype to two of the most talked-about spots: Wicked Spoon and Sakana Sushi. 🌟 Wicked Spoon (at The Cosmopolitan) We were staying at The Cosmopolitan and had read that if you arrive before 11 AM, you could pay the breakfast price (around $39?) and stay through lunch. But maybe because of the holiday season – or they caught on to the hack – it’s now a flat rate of $59 before tax, no separate breakfast/brunch pricing. We got there at 10:20 AM and the line was already long… waited 1 hour 10 minutes and finally got seated at 11:30. Their main draw is all-you-can-eat snow crab legs, but aside from that, the variety was limited and other dishes were just okay. The crab was also a bit too salty. Desserts were good though – the molten chocolate cake wasn’t overly sweet and stayed warm with a rich chocolate aroma.❤️❤️ The next morning at 8:30 AM, the line was already forming again… Verdict: Overhyped. If you’re waiting 2+ hours and paying close to $70 per person, it’s not really worth it unless you really love snow crab and can avoid the wait. 🌟 Sakana Sushi (off the Strip) Another place with crazy lines. They open at 11 AM – we arrived at 11:20 on a rainy day, put our name down, and still waited a full hour.😁😁 If you want to skip the wait, you probably need to be there before opening. They offer an all-day menu for $29.95 – we initially thought it was for dinner only, but lunch is $25.95 with fewer choices. The all-day menu includes oysters and certain fish options, but even the lunch selection is generous. Sushi here is more fish, less rice – very fresh. Hand rolls are packed, and they have about 6–7 yakitori options (though a bit overcooked). Dessert is included, but drinks cost extra (tap water is free, and they didn’t confiscate our Starbucks while waiting 😅). The creative/non-traditional sushi rolls were the best – with fun names too! Verdict: Also popular, but great value for money and truly tasty. I’d go back even with the wait. #BuffetLife #VegasBuffet #LasVegasFood #VegasEats #FoodReview 🦀🍣
