Ultimate 5-Day Idaho Travel Guide 🥔🚗

I rarely make detailed travel plans since things often change, but this time I did — all because I really wanted to stay in that giant potato hotel! Even though I knew almost nothing about Idaho, I thought: why not give it a shot? 😄 👉 I used Notion to plan this trip — its responsive design is super user-friendly, perfect for quick notes and expense tracking. 💻📒 👉 We started from the Bay Area and drove all the way to Boise, ID — about 11 hours! We arrived late at night and began exploring Boise the next day. 🏠 Night 1: We opted for a creative tiny house on Airbnb — this one was a blue shipping container in the middle of nowhere! I loved the isolated vibe. It was small but had everything we needed 🏡🔵. Day 2: Exploring Boise 📍 Big City Coffee – A trendy industrial-style brunch spot. I ordered a pumpkin spice latte 🎃☕ — highly recommended! The Spanish breakfast was huge and tasty (though a bit too cheesy toward the end). Definitely shareable between two! 🏠 The Big Idaho Potato Hotel The highlight of my trip! 🥔💛 This potato-shaped Airbnb did not disappoint. There was even a friendly neighbor cow named Doly 🐄❤️! The interior was cozy with a small bed, though the bathroom was in a separate shed — a little spooky at night! So many people stopped by to take photos with it 😂. 📍 Westside Drive-in You can’t visit the Potato State without trying potato-themed treats! Their vanilla ice cream shaped like a potato was not only cute but delicious too 🍦🥔. 📍 Boise Fry Company We also tried this famous local fry spot — they offer tons of potato and seasoning options! A fun and must-try experience 🍟🔥. Idaho surprised me with its charm, creativity, and all things potato!
