Ultimate Guide to Coastal Towns Near Boston

Ultimate Guide to Coastal Towns Near Boston | Accessible via Purple Line It’s been a while since my last update, so let’s drop something big this time! I’m recommending a few coastal towns near Boston—hurry and go while the weather isn’t fully cold yet! ① Rockport | Stone Port + Jeju Island Vibe, a Must for Art Lovers As the name suggests (“Rock+Port”), it has a port full of stones! It’s amazing to visit on a nice day—the sea is a bright azure blue. The town’s scenery is a bit like Jeju Island, with lots of great shops, restaurants, and art exhibitions. It’s one of my favorite towns! 📸 ② Manchester by the Sea | “Manchester by the Sea” Filming Location, Luxury Home Spot Yes! This is the filming location of the movie Manchester by the Sea! It’s a proper luxury home area, but most are private properties—you can only admire them from the outside, not go in. ❌ The scenery mainly includes the vast sea, quiet parks, and rows of exquisite mansions. Walking along the coastal road, feeling the breeze and looking at the mansions, you’ll have that “pretending to be on vacation” comfort. Perfect for those who love quiet sea views! ③ Providence | Rhode Island’s “Small but Complete” Gem, Worth a Full Day This is my second time visiting Providence, and I still love it! Rhode Island is small, but “small but complete”—it’s totally worth treating like a small city to explore. 🛍️ You can easily spend a full day here if you take your time. I posted a detailed one-day guide for Rhode Island before (📖 check my previous notes to find it). Whether you’re visiting museums, eating good food, or admiring street views, it’s super charming! ④ Newport | Gatsby Filming Location + Cliff Walk, Tons of Fun! You can take a 1-hour ferry from Providence to Newport (driving takes 40 minutes, so the ferry feels like a little sea trip!). 🚢 It’s the filming location of The Great Gatsby, and several other famous mansions are here—they’re all concentrated in one area, so it’s recommended to buy a package ticket to visit them. Don’t miss the “Cliffwalk”—the entrance clearly marks “easy sections” and “difficult sections,” but trust me, it’s not that hard—you can even walk it in Crocs! 😎 Also, many people asked about the “Rail Explorer” in my previous videos—it’s where you ride a 4-person cart on train tracks. The section with sea views isn’t long, but it’s a super fun and unique experience! 💡 Key Tip: Super Convenient Transportation! Towns ① Rockport, ② Manchester by the Sea, and ③ Providence are all directly accessible via the MBTA Purple Line (🟣)! No need to drive—super friendly for car-free travelers! #BostonArea#USA#RhodeIsland#Rockport#ManchesterByTheSea#Newport#HealingSeaViews#TravelIsTheBestBeautyTreatment
