Don't just stick to the National Museum! #2025 Never Boring with Interests π πΈ Sumida Hokusai Museum π 2-7-2 Kamezawa, Sumida-ku π Designed by the renowned architect Kazuyo Sejima, this museum is a permanent showcase for the works of ukiyo-e master Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849). It houses over 1,800 pieces of Hokusai's art. π¨ πΈ Ota Memorial Museum of Art π 1-10-10 Jingumae, Shibuya-ku π One of the top three ukiyo-e collections in Japan, photography is not allowed inside. The museum holds approximately 14,000 ukiyo-e pieces, including Hokusai's Thirty-Six Views of Mount Fuji and Hiroshige's Fifty-Three Stations of the Tokaido. A treasure trove of ukiyo-e that changes exhibitions monthly! When I visited in February, they were featuring works by Kunichika Toyohara. π #Museums ποΈ
