🌸 Ultimate New York and Nearby Cherry Blossom Viewing Guide (1)
Cherry blossom season is just around the corner! 🌸 In my fifth year on the East Coast, I'm sharing the ultimate cherry blossom viewing guide! 🌟 🌅 1. Central Park Cherry Hill Central Park usually hosts a Japan Day in May, but it seems to be canceled this year according to the official website. However, there are still plenty of cherry blossom spots you can visit for free: Yoshino Cherry: East side of the Reservoir, Lilac Walk (northeast of Sheep Meadow), Conservatory Water, Ramble (near 72nd Street), Delacorte Theater (near 80th Street), southeast of the Great Lawn. 🌅 Kwanzan Cherry: West side of the Reservoir, East Green, West of the Metropolitan Museum at East 83rd to 84th Streets, East Drive at 74th Street, Bethesda Terrace (near 72nd Street), southeast of the Great Lawn Oval. 2. Riverside Park This riverside park along the Hudson River on the West Side of Manhattan is one of the hot spots for cherry blossom season. The Cherry Walk from 72nd Street to 158th Street spans nearly four miles and features over 2,000 cherry blossom trees. 🌸 🌅 3. Roosevelt Island The cherry blossom trees along the coast of Roosevelt Island are absolutely stunning. Imagine taking the tram, enjoying the sunset, and viewing the cherry blossoms – it has all the beauty you can imagine! 🌅 #NewYork #CherryBlossom #TravelGuide 🌟
