Unbelievable Hospitality & Delicious Food! 🏻🍽️

Wow… where do I even begin? My husband and I were visiting Charleston overnight and found ourselves walking along the famous Meeting Street. 🚶‍♀️ At around 3:30 PM, we passed this restaurant with a "since 1890" sign – what establishment lasts that long? We knew this had to be a special experience. Another sign that truly moved me was one inviting those who were hungry and searching for food to come inside – stating that anyone who was hungry but without money would be fed. 🥘 Who does that anymore? Kudos!! 👏 In under 10 minutes, we were seated at a quaint table in the second-floor corner, surrounded by plates, photos, and notes from celebrities who had dined here. I sat where Darius Rucker, Jimmy Buffett, and Billy Wall once ate! Our waitress Ramsey was incredibly attentive, friendly, and welcoming. 💫 She shared stories about visitors and owners that made the experience even more delightful. After we ordered, Rusty – a friend of the owner – greeted us just to say hello and welcome. Apparently, he's been helping the family welcome guests for 50 years – now that's dedication! 🕰️ We thought that was the highlight, but then owner Eli Hymans visited again, gifting us an amazing seafood dip platter. 🦐 I don't typically enjoy dips, but knowing I should do as the locals do, I tried it and was surprised by how delicious it was! We ordered the black grouper tacos and Chilean sea bass croquettes. 🌮 We shared both dishes and were completely satisfied. Did I mention everything was incredible?
