Uncle Henry Cantonese Roast - A Hidden Gem in Denver! 🦆✨

If you're in the Denver area and craving authentic Cantonese roast meats, look no further than Uncle Henry in Westminster! This place is a true treasure, and I can't recommend it enough. 😍 Let's talk about the star of the show—the roast duck! 🦆 It's incredibly flavorful, with perfectly tender meat and crispy skin. We ordered half to eat there and half to take home—it was that good! The best part? The price is very reasonable. A whole duck is around $30+, which is a great deal these days. The lady at the cash register (who I believe is the owner) is super sweet and patient—a refreshing change from some other Cantonese restaurants where service can be... intense. 😅 My first visit was totally by accident. My friend and I originally planned to go to the ramen place next door, but we stumbled upon Uncle Henry instead. 👍We tried the 3-combo rice (with roast duck, soy sauce chicken, and roast pork) and were blown away by how aromatic and delicious the roast duck was. We immediately packed another half duck to bring home, and my family loved it so much they insisted we go back! On my most recent visit, I dragged my friend who lives in the south metro area to join me, and we ordered a whole duck—half to enjoy there and half to take away. 🥡 They also have a variety of classic dishes. This time, we tried the stuffed eggplant with shrimp paste—it was so fresh and juicy, not overly seasoned or greasy, letting the natural flavors shine through. 😍We also had the water spinach with fermented tofu, though I personally preferred the garlic broccoli from my previous visit. The dining area is small, and they mostly use disposable utensils—probably to keep costs down and make takeout easier. Some dishes even come in takeout containers, so you can just put the lid on and take the leftovers home! 🥢 I can't wait to go back and try more dishes from their menu! #DenverFood #CantoneseRoast #RoastDuck #LifeInUSA #DenverLife #ColoradoLife #ChineseRestaurant #ChineseCuisine #DenverChineseFood #FoodieFind
