Unforgettable Lychee Curry Duck Breast ๐Ÿฆ† | Soothr LIC

Soothr has always been one of my favorite Thai spots in the city, and I was thrilled to hear they opened a new location in LIC! Went for lunch today โ€” just a quick elevator ride down. ๐Ÿ˜Š Stepping inside felt like being transported to Bangkok ๐Ÿ‡น๐Ÿ‡ญ โ€” exposed brick walls, wooden furniture, and warm lighting created a cozy, retro Thai vibe. The dishes were all full of character: ๐Ÿฒ Pla Neung Manow โ€” steamed fish with a tangy, spicy lime sauce. The fish was incredibly tender and packed with authentic Thai heat. ๐Ÿฆ† Panang Duck Lychee โ€” the star of the meal! Sweet lychee and rich Panang curry balanced perfectly with tender duck. So comforting and delicious with rice ๐Ÿš. ๐Ÿฆช Au Suan (Oyster Pancake) โ€” the Thai-style oyster omelette was crispy and loaded with fresh oysters. Paired with spicy dipping sauce, it was a real treat! For drinks, I tried the Thai Viet Drip โ€” similar to Vietnamese coffee, rich and sweet with condensed milk โ˜•๏ธ. Ended with the Mango Koko Snowy โ€” a creamy, coconutty mango slush that was refreshing and not too sweet ๐Ÿฅฅ๐Ÿฅญ. The whole experience was relaxed and enjoyable, with friendly service and a great atmosphere. Pricing is very reasonable too! ๐Ÿ“ Soothr - LIC 25-20 43rd Ave, Long Island City, NY Liked this review?
