Unlocking a new Thai sour soup fish experience in Paris ❣️
🥹 This shop might be completely unnoticed if you pass by, and my friend said it's hard to find if you don't look carefully, but we were all quite surprised after eating here. 🥰 The braised dish platter is really amazing, with pig ears, braised beef, and layered stomach, each one delicious! I really suggest the owner sell the braised dishes separately! 👍 The Thai sour soup fish has a very fresh broth, with a Thai-style sour and spicy flavor that's very appetizing. The fish is served whole, and you can even find the fish bones at the bottom. 👍 I personally think it's quite tasty. 😂 We finished the golden shrimp along with the corn kernels inside, which were wrapped in salted egg yolks. Isn't that our northern golden corn kernel dish? 🧩 The sweet and sour shredded pork is traditionally wrapped in bean curd sheets in the north, but wrapping it in these small steamed buns was surprisingly delicious this time! 🥰 The Maoxuewang dish was just average, not the traditional Sichuan cuisine preparation. Although it's not spicy and friendly to those who can't handle spicy food, it still lacks something in terms of flavor. 🥰 The homemade fruit tea wasn't photographed, but it's really good! We finished a pot of fruit tea before the dishes even arrived, haha. 🧩 The name "Spicy and Refreshing" sounds like Sichuan cuisine and might suggest a spicy dish, but actually, "Spicy and Refreshing" is the name of the owner's homemade chili oil, which has been used for the restaurant's name. The restaurant itself leans more towards a fusion cuisine, with dishes from various regions. It might not be spicy enough for friends who come specifically for Sichuan cuisine, but it's still friendly for those with milder tastes. ❣️ Spicy and Refreshing ❣️ 161 Av.d'Italie 75013 Paris #FrenchLife #ParisShopExploration #100ShopsExplorationPlan #Paris #ShopExploration #ParisFood #FoodDaily #ParisChineseCuisine ### name: Spicy and Refreshing address: 161 Av.d'Italie 75013 Paris type:restaurant ###
