Unlocking the Must-Try Restaurants in Louisville šŸ“

I can’t believe Hammerheads isn’t getting enough attention ! My first time in Louisville, I tried the fried chicken at The Eagle. While it had its, the texture was just okay, and it was overly salty that day. On my second visit, I went to the original KFC location and happened to catch their buffet. They had two versions of the Original Recipe chicken, but neither was impressive. The other dishes were also mediocre—my partner and I agreed we wouldn’t return. So on our third trip, we did our homework and carefully picked Hammerheads, hidden in a residential area, based on recommendations from , Google, and Google Maps. šŸ“ Location Close to downtown but tucked away in a neighborhood. šŸ  Decor The two giant shark decorations on the exterior make it hard to miss! The interior is aesthetically pleasing—I meant to take photos but forgot after eating 😭. 🌿 Ambience It can get noisy because of the bar, but the place is clean and spacious with plenty of seating. You can also dine outside. šŸ‘ Service Everyone was incredibly warm and enthusiastic. šŸ½ļø Food 🄰 Mac & Cheese Balls: A must-try for mac & cheese lovers! Crispy on the outside, filled with rich and creamy mac & cheese inside. 🄰 Duck Sandwich: Similar to Buckee’s pork sandwich—smoky, slightly spicy (barely noticeable), and the duck was tender and flavorful. I loved it! šŸ¤” ELK Burger: Apparently a signature dish. The patty was substantial and tasty, but since I’m not a burger person, I’ll leave it at that. 🄰 Lamb Ribs: We ordered a half rack, which was plenty. The meat was fall-off-the-bone tender, with a slight gaminess balanced by rich meat and dairy notes. The black BBQ sauce on the table (my partner disagreed, but I think it’s BBQ-like) elevated the flavor. 🄰 Grippo Fries: Upgrade to duck fat frying for an extra $3—absolutely worth it! These fries were sweet, spicy, and incredibly fragrant, almost like they were infused with roast duck or fried chicken seasoning. The texture was perfect: crispy on the outside, soft inside, and coated in a thick, addictive sweet-spicy powder. We couldn’t stop eating! šŸ’° Price Around $35 per person (not entirely sure). A sandwich alone is filling enough—probably under $20 including tax and tip. šŸ“Œ Address 921 Swan St, Louisville, KY 40204 #Louisville #Kentucky #FoodieFinds šŸ—
