USA | Los Angeles One-Day Trip (Budget-Friendly & Chill Version)
This time, we kept it casual and explored from east to west, hitting these spots: Kobe Mural, Hollywood Park, IN-N-OUT Burger (airport location), Playa Del Rey coastal drive, and Santa Monica Beach 🏖️—including the iconic sunset roller coaster! 1️⃣ Kobe Mural 📍: W Pico Blvd & Grand Ave A must-visit for Kobe fans 💜 🅿️ You can pull over to take a quick photo. The area feels a bit sketchy, and the air had a weird vibe. 2️⃣ Hollywood Instagram Spot 📍: Lake Hollywood Park 🅿️ Street parking available. For the classic celebrity-style photo, hike up a small dirt trail—lots of people shoot there! The park itself is also super photogenic. 📸 3️⃣ IN-N-OUT Burger + Plane Spotting 📍: 9149 S Sepulveda Blvd, Los Angeles, CA 90045 🅿️ Free dedicated customer parking A paradise for aviation lovers! ✈️ Afternoon visits might let you spot 747s, A380s, and other jumbo jets (seeing Lufthansa’s 747 and A380 up close was epic!). You can check flight schedules and aircraft types on FlightRadar. Also, SpaceX is nearby if you’re interested! 🚀 4️⃣ Playa Del Rey Coastal Drive 📍: 6931 Vista Del Mar Ln 🅿️ Street parking available Super scenic but weather-dependent 🌅—especially gorgeous during sunset. Some side roads lead straight to the ocean and are great for photos! 5️⃣ Santa Monica Beach 🅿️ Navigate to Parking Structure 6—free for the first 1.5 hours on weekends, then ~$2/hour (way cheaper than beach parking!). About a 10-min walk to the beach. Rode the Pacific Wheel at sunset 🎡: $17/person for two rounds. No cameras allowed! Also visited the end of Route 66. P.S. Trendy folks can also check out Stussy and Undefeated nearby. Park at Trader Joe’s or a grocery store. Ask in-store for the LA-exclusive Stussy items! 🧢👟 #Los Angeles #LATravel #StussyLAExclusive #HollywoodHill #LakeHollywoodPark
