Vancouver’s Hunan Cuisine is SO GOOD 😭 $0.99 Stinky Tofu?! HEAVEN 🤣
Vancouver is truly my happy place—why are there so many amazing eats here?! As a spice addict, I’ve always been obsessed with Hunan food, and this new find in Richmond did NOT disappoint. We stumbled upon Xiang Chuan Mansion while wandering around, and wow—it was packed! Got the last table at 5 PM; any later and we’d have been stuck waiting. 🍽️ What We Ordered 1️⃣ Hunan Stinky Tofu ($0.99!!) Smells funky, tastes INCREDIBLE. Way better than frozen supermarket versions. And yes—ONLY $0.99 (thought it was a typo at first 😂). 2️⃣ Spicy Chicken & Intestine Hot Pot 🌶️🔥 The spiciest dish! Served on a portable stove, so it stays piping hot. Boneless chicken + clean, chewy intestines = perfect over rice. 3️⃣ Sour & Spicy Pork Tripe Flavor was great, but the tripe wasn’t as crispy as advertised. Still tasty though! 4️⃣ Farmer’s Stir-Fried Pork 2 Best Rice Killer! Fatty pork slices wok-fried to perfection—so fragrant, so guiltily delicious. Bonus: Took a lamb hot pot to-go for tomorrow’s meal in Seattle—bet it’ll be amazing too! 💰 Damage: ~98 CAD (~70 USD) for 3 people (including rice, drinks, and tip). We left STUFFED. 📍Xiang Chuan Mansion (Check Google for exact location—it’s in Richmond!) #VancouverEats #HunanFood #SpicyLovers #FoodieFinds #RichmondBC
