Vancouver | Fable Kitchen: A Bib Gourmand-Worthy Gem
This place totally surprised me—I’d call it a high-end local restaurant 🤣🤣. They specialize in a farm-to-table dining concept, emphasizing fresh and healthy ingredients. For starters, I just ordered the Winter Salad (wanted something light to start with 🤤). For the main course, I had the Duck Breast and Sable Fish. Oh my gosh! I finally found a place that knows how to cook fish! The chef kept the fish tender and juicy—it was so delicious 🤤. The duck breast was also perfectly cooked—super tender with a crispy skin. It was beautifully paired with a pumpkin puree. A bite of duck wrapped in that puree was pure heaven 😋. For dessert, I chose the Basque cheesecake. My goodness, it's so much better than your regular cheesecake 🤣. If I wasn’t already so full, I would have ordered another slice! For drinks, they have a daily special cocktail, so I went with that—it was a Blackberry Sour 🍸. 🌟🌟 To sum it up, their plating is simple, but you can tell they put real heart into their food and cooking. 💰💰 Average cost: $70 per person, including drinks. 🌝 What a great day—another restaurant without disappointment! Vancouver just got a little more love from me. #EatDrinkPlay #VancouverLife #VancouverEats ### Name: Fable Kitchen Address: 1944 W 4th Ave, Vancouver Type: Restaurant ###
