Vancouver | Here, You’re Allowed to Stay Childlike at Heart 🐮

Vancouver | Here, You’re Allowed to Stay Childlike at Heart 🐮 Totally Healed 🤎 A while ago, I took a day trip to nearby Abbotsford—and it was pure magic! I’d been wanting to visit this dairy farm for ages, and it did not disappoint. Away from the city’s hustle and bustle, the farm felt like a little slice of paradise 🌿. The animals are all *so* cute, and you can even pet them—it’s the most healing thing ever~ I especially recommend parents bring their kids here! Children will *adore* this experience; it’s such a fun parent-child activity where they can play, learn, and pick up tons of new knowledge 🧒👧. For groups of fewer than 10 people, no advance booking is needed—just buy tickets at the door. There are several tour options, but we went for the VIP tour, which is only $10 per person (what a steal! 💰). Kids and seniors get in for $8. The whole experience was fantastic—100% worth it! The VIP tour lets you get up close and personal with baby calves 🐄. Some of the “social butterfly” calves will lick your hands like crazy—so ticklish and cute! The adult cows surprised me with how huge they are, but they’re gentle giants. You can also watch the milking process, though don’t expect manual milking—everything’s fully mechanized now, which is pretty cool to see 🦾. If you don’t want to pay for a tour, there’s a free Discovery Zone too! It’s packed with adorable little animals: goats 🐐, sheep 🐑, turkeys 🦃, pigs 🐖, ponies 🐎, donkeys 🫏... You can buy feed for $1 a bag to interact with them—so much fun, even for us “big kids”! The farm has its own market selling all kinds of fresh goodies: eggs, milk, fruits, veggies, meat, cheese, ham, honey, and more 🧀. In summer, they also sell ice cream 🍦 made with their own milk—*definitely* save room for that! ‼️‼️ Must bring shoe covers ‼️‼️ Disposable ones work, but better to double up to avoid tearing. The ground is muddy (and mixed with a little manure 😅)—without covers, your car ride home would get *smelly*. Kids can wear rain boots too! This place is perfect for anyone needing a break from the city. Leave your worries at the gate and let the cows (and calves!) melt your heart 🥰. #Vancouver#VancouverLife#VancouverActivities#VancouverPhotography#VancouverSurroundings#VancouverTravel
