Vancouver | I Never Knew Canadian Cuisine Could Be So Delicious

Great value for money and the interior is very beautiful. You can order Γ  la carte or a tasting menu. It's a Michelin-recommended restaurant, but not many people know about it. We had the place to ourselves for dinner at 6:30 PM, and the waitstaff were very patient. Recommended dishes: Smoked Oyster: (A must-order) This dish is served with a plum-flavored crushed ice and caviar on top of the oyster, which is very creative. It's my first time trying something like this! The sweet and sour taste is very appetizing. Covered with a glass dome, it's both visually appealing and delicious. A perfect amuse-bouche! Recommendation Index: β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜… Foie Gras Tart: This is their signature dish, with a sweet and sour taste and a hint of the saltiness of foie gras, creating a rich layer of flavors. The vanilla tart has fruit particles in the middle, a layer of foie gras at the bottom, and a mousse on top. It's not too sweet. But I'm not particularly fond of mousse. Recommendation Index: β˜…β˜…β˜… ROASTED SCALLOPS: These pan-fried scallops are incredibly delicious, with a crispy exterior and a tender interior, and they're especially fragrant. Highly recommended! Recommendation Index: β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜… CHEEKY BERKSHIRE: This is the best pork neck I've ever had. It's not greasy at all, and the meat is very bouncy and chewy. The side dishes are strawberries and some nuts. Recommendation Index: β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜… CARAMEL MISO SABLEFISH: (A must-order) I cleaned my plate with this dish, not leaving a single grain of rice. It's just too delicious! The cod is pan-fried to be very tender, melting in your mouth. The side dishes are mushrooms, rapeseed, and fregola sarda, a type of pasta from Sardinia, Italy, which is very chewy. I especially enjoy chewing on this pasta, which contrasts sharply with the tenderness of the cod. The flavors are very harmonious and unified. Absolutely amazing! So delicious! Recommendation Index: β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜…β˜… DARK CHOCOLATE MOUSSE: At first, I thought it was old yogurt and ate a lot of it. With cocoa powder and apple pieces, it's still quite good. The small cubes at the bottom are made of coconut flakes, which I personally don't like very much. Recommendation Index: β˜…β˜…β˜… I personally feel that as long as this restaurant continues to operate, it will definitely be star-worthy in the future. The main dishes are better than the appetizers, and they are very well designed and creative, not the same old Italian or French cuisine.
