Vancouver Restaurant Hunt | Boulevard Kitchen & Oyster Bar

I'm sure many of you have already heard of this very famous restaurant in Vancouver! 🎉 This time, I’m excited to share Boulevard’s Executive Chef Roger Ma’s latest menu, called "For the Table." 🍽️✨ The evening kicked off with a stunning two-pound sea bream baked in a salt crust, presented right at the table. 🐟✨ Baked with salt dough and spices, and served with roasted fennel and Beurre Blanc sauce, it was a feast for both the eyes and taste buds. 😍 Next up was the show-stopping 50-ounce tomahawk steak 🥩🔥, featuring premium Canadian Angus beef, seasoned with porcini powder, salt, and Tellicherry pepper, accompanied by broccoli and red wine. The generous use of butter made the beef incredibly tender, earning it the nickname "butter beef." 🧈🥰 While the sea bream and steak were visually impressive, the star of the night was actually the most subtle yet distinctive dish—a plant-based delight: curry roasted cauliflower. 🥦✨ The crispy cauliflower was roasted with curry leaves until tender and aromatic, topped with a vibrant green chutney, coconut turmeric sauce, spiced almonds, and raisins. Every bite was a surprising and delightful explosion of flavor. 🌶️🌿💥 The new menu encourages guests to share delicious bread, with vegetables and starches perfectly complementing the shared mains.
