Vancouver Restaurant Review | West Van's Newest Spot: A Gentle Touch of Feminine Power
It’s been a while since I visited West Vancouver, and with Mereon opening its doors for the first time today, I decided to cross the bridge and check it out. The weather was lovely, in the teens, perfect for a little exploration. Mereon is a French restaurant that leans more towards a cozy, homey vibe rather than the fancy side, currently offering breakfast and brunch only. The soft hues of pale blue and yellow in the decor create a very relaxing atmosphere. The menu features some classic and down-to-earth dishes like Croque Madame, Cassoulet, Crepes, and Bisque, along with some popular brunch options. I tried the Duck Confit, and it was incredibly tender with a delightful aroma when it arrived. However, the flavor was a bit on the heavier side, combining duck, bacon, and lamb sausage—quite the “gamey” mix! 😂 The portion size was just right for me, but a French gentleman seated nearby kept asking if the portion was too small. 😂 For dessert, I had the Passion Fruit Crème Brûlée, which was a refreshing end to the meal. I had originally wanted to try the lemon crepes, but they were so large they could have served as a main dish! #Vancouver #VancouverLife #VancouverEats #VancouverDaily #VancouverRestaurant #VancouverFoodie #VancouverFood #VancouverFoodieFinds #VancouverNewEats #VancouverRecommendations #CanadianLiving #CanadianFood #WestVancouver ### Name: Mereon Address: 1479 Clyde Ave, West Vancouver Type: Restaurant ###
