Vancouver Restaurant Visit | The Sister Restaurant to Canada's No. 1 Is Here! 🍴✨

💭 This place is the sister restaurant to Published on Main, and it’s just recently opened. The vibe here is more chill, and the menu isn’t very extensive—after all, it’s a wine bar! 🍷 It’s best to make a reservation a few days in advance, but if you’re lucky, you might snag a spot if you go early! 🥔 Hashbrowns: Hashbrowns are definitely one of my favorite foods ever! 😻 These have a crispy exterior but aren’t greasy at all. Paired with the McChicken sauce, it feels like eating a McSpicy Chicken Burger! 🍔 Love it! Love it! Love it! 🍽 Duck Liver Parfait: Rich and creamy duck liver mousse with a delicate texture, topped with a tangy-sweet strawberry jam 🍓 and crispy honey puffs. The flavor layers are amazing! This one is a must-try! 🍞 Charred Onion & Eggplant Dip: Toasted whole wheat bread drizzled with olive oil 🫒 gives off a BBQ vibe, though it overshadows the main star, the “onion and eggplant dip.” However, the contrast of hot bread and cold dip is still pretty nice. 🐟 Grilled Sablefish: The portion of this main dish is really small 😩. The tom yum-flavored broth is decent, but the cod is a bit fatty, making the dish feel overly greasy and a bit fishy 🥵. 🧁 Pavlova: A large version of meringue with a bit of sweetness. The plum and peanut butter 🥜 base balances things out, but overall, it’s not highly recommended… #Vancouver #HiddenGem #VancouverRestaurants #FoodDaily #WeekendEats #FoodAndDrinkDaily #VancouverEats ### Name: Bar Susu Address: 209 E 6th Ave, Vancouver, BC V5T 1J7 Type: Restaurant ###
