Vancouver's Sudden Temperature Drop Got Me Craving Some Hot Dishes! ❄️🍲

🍲 Wild Pork Wontons: Steaming hot pork wontons packed with juicy, flavorful filling‼️ The soup base is a peppery shrimp seaweed broth with a strong pepper kick—so warm and comforting. I finished the whole bowl! I bet this broth would be perfect with noodles too. 🐷 Sweet and Sour Pork: Tender pork loin coated in a thin, crispy batter and fried to a golden crunch✨. Drizzled with a sweet and sour glaze, it’s crispy on the outside, but the meat inside stays juicy and tender. 🍜 Cold Noodles with Sesame Sauce: These thick, chewy noodles are coated in rich, creamy sesame sauce—so slurpable! The sauce is smooth and intense, while the noodles are bouncy and soft. Paired with cucumber, tofu skin, and shredded radish, it’s a rich yet refreshing combo. 🐓 Grilled Chicken Bones: My favorite skewer! The barbecue seasoning is on the sweeter side and super fragrant. There’s still plenty of meat on the bones, and the charcoal grilling makes every bite packed with flavor—chewing the bones gets tastier with each bite! 🐂 Beef Skewers: Exactly what I was craving—half-fat, half-lean beef skewers. The fatty bits are so flavorful! The chunks are just the right size, and the cumin seasoning really shines. Another skewer that I loved. 🍞 Golden Grilled Bread: This seems to be made from egg bread, with a soft, yellow inside. The surface is brushed with egg wash and condensed milk, then grilled to golden perfection and sprinkled with black sesame seeds. It’s sweet and feels like a dessert—perfect to end the meal on a high note! Overall, everything was super tasty! Two of us ate for around 💰$55 per person. We were so full, we had to pack the leftover sweet and sour pork to go. 😂 #Vancouver #VancouverEats #VancouverDining #VancouverLife #VancouverFoodie #RichmondEats #RichmondDining
