Vanuatu 5D4N Trip 🇻🇺 – The Aftermath is Real~
When I landed in Port Vila, I was shocked—it was my first time seeing such a tiny international airport for a capital city! 😂 Customs even grilled me for a while, insisting on checking my return ticket. Were they worried I’d ditch Australia and overstay in Vanuatu as an illegal immigrant? LOL. After finally clearing customs, I exchanged some Vatu, but the line was sooo long. 🥲 Day 1 Got to the hotel pretty late, so no activities—just wandered around the resort. Day 2 Visited the Blue Lagoon (so blue, so photogenic! 📸 No fee if you don’t swim) and caught a traditional tribal performance. Pro tip: mentally prepare yourself—I was physically present but spiritually left behind 🫠. Their welcome ceremony was a wild (but cool!) surprise! Day 3 Early flight to Tanna Island to see the volcano 🌋, but the plane was super delayed. By the time we arrived, it was too late for the afternoon Blue Cave tour. Day 4 Woke up early to hit the Blue Cave—water levels were crazy high! Despite not knowing how to swim, I (boldly? recklessly?) jumped right in. 🏊♂️ Screamed my way through the whole thing, but thankfully the dive guide babysat me. 😅 Met a sweet Chinese student couple on the boat—the girl was super nice and snapped a pic for me since I forgot my phone. Day 5 Breakfast + lazy stroll before rushing back to Australia. Now, days later, I’m finally recovering from the trip’s intensity! 🤯 VERDICT: GO GO GO!!! ✈️ #Vanuatu #BlueCave #YasurVolcano #VanuatuTravelGuide
