🍣 Vegas’ 888 Sushi – So Good It’ll Make You Cry! 😭🎰

Our Vegas trip was full of great meals, but 888 Sushi was the real standout — absolutely mind-blowing! The wait can be crazy long — we landed at 6 PM on a Friday, joined the Yelp waitlist right away, and by the time we got our luggage and rental car (almost 2 hours), our table was just ready! We almost missed the slot, but it seemed like they were accommodating some walk-ins — so join the virtual queue ASAP once it opens! We went with the mid-tier “Premium” menu — and wow, the selection is massive and overwhelming! I originally wanted to try every sushi piece… but that was mission impossible 😅 Some items are marked “Chef’s Special” and limited to one order per table. The mango salsa salmon was just okay, but other dishes like the takoyaki (octopus balls) and fried soft-shell crab were total wins 🦀 Many of their marinated sashimi dishes have a hint of chili — so flavorful! The grilled beef skewers were buttery and melt-in-your-mouth, with a beautiful charcoal aroma 🥩 I suspect they’re slow-cooked first, then grilled? We didn’t get many photos of the grilled items… because they disappeared the second they hit the table! The sushi pieces are incredibly generous — the fish is about three times the usual size, with just a tiny bite of rice underneath. The only letdown?
