Vegas | Mandalay Bay Hotel's Hidden Easter Eggs
This hotel is quite famous in the U.S., notably as the site of the deadliest mass shooting in American history. The creepiest part? I couldn’t find the 32nd floor in the hotel... 😳 That said, there was no haunted vibe at all. I stayed here mostly out of curiosity after moving over from the pyramid next door (Luxor). The front desk was super friendly — using the "sandwich method", not only did I get upgraded to a very high floor, but they also gave me $75 + $15 + $15 in food & beverage credits (including Marriott perks, and they stacked! 😲). I was genuinely shocked — we immediately went for fine dining downstairs that night. We ate at Caramá by Wolfgang Puck — and it was pretty good! Downstairs isn’t just about food — there’s plenty to do. The hotel shares amenities with The Hotel (formerly THEhotel), Delano, and even Four Seasons. There’s also an aquarium, and you can take the free tram (runs until midnight) directly to Luxor and Excalibur — super convenient transportation! 🚊 The rooms are a bit dated, soundproofing isn’t great, and cleanliness is just okay. The view is decent, but the window glass has a weird tint — everything feels a bit less "clear." Housekeeping is pretty casual too — even asking for a toothbrush took a while. But given the lower price point, it’s still a fair deal. Under $200/night with food credit included? Not bad at all. ⚠️ Important note: The area can feel a bit crowded with random people late at night — not the safest vibe. I got some strange approaches, so stay alert and be careful! #LasVegasGuide #LasVegasHotels 🏨🎰⚠️
