Vegas Beautiful Meal | Michelin ⭐️ Classic French

This Vegas trip was pretty last‑minute, so I didn’t book restaurants ahead — but I still craved some beautiful food. Since I already have Joël Robuchon’s three‑star booked for January, this time I tried their one‑star sister restaurant: L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon. It’s much easier to get into than the three‑star — I secured a same‑day reservation! Both are inside MGM Grand. You can choose between a tasting menu or à la carte — we went with the tasting menu ($225 pp). Overall, the food lived up to the price: refined, elegant French cuisine, with most dishes being delicious. However, the ambiance was just okay — most seating is at the bar, and sitting for 2–3 hours gets tiring. It’s also quite noisy, not ideal for a romantic date. But the real issue was the service.😊💕 Halfway through the meal, a server spilled wine all over us while serving… My partner had to go to the restroom to clean up, and the staff just continued introducing the next dish as if nothing happened. The manager eventually came to apologize and said the replacement glass of wine would be “on the house” — but honestly, replacing a drink they spilled should be a given, let alone when it splashes on guests. It really killed the mood for the second half of the meal.👍❤️ Still, most dishes were quite good. The starters were delicate and tasty. There was a lobster course I didn’t love. For the main, you can add $45 to switch from duck to Wagyu — we upgraded one portion, but I’d recommend sticking with the duck. It was delicious, with a sweet‑sour glaze almost like “tangcu paigu” (sweet & sour ribs). The Wagyu, in comparison, was just okay.😊 The mashed potatoes served with the main were incredible — silky, rich, and creamy. A true Robuchon signature. Now I’m even more excited for the three‑star in January! Michelin ratings in Vegas are quite old, but the ingredients and presentation here still deserve that star. 💰 With tax and tip, around $400 per person. 📍 L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109 #VegasFood #VegasMichelin #JoelRobuchon #LasVegas #VegasEats #MGMGrand #VegasDining
