Vegas Former 2-Star French Restaurant Guy Savoy — Actually Pretty Good

💰 $395 + tax + tip 📍 Inside Caesars Palace, Las Vegas I really liked the decor — high ceilings, bright and open space, modern furniture, tableware, and art. The servers were warm and approachable, a totally different vibe from Joel Robuchon’s old-money elegance. And the food quality definitely holds up! Personally, I left happy and impressed. 🍽️✨ Dish rundown: 🚗 Started with the bread cart — more traditional styles but super varied. Sampled a slice of each! ✨ Seasonal Amuse — three bites: mini Wagyu slider (amazing!), refreshing cucumber roll, and a sunflower seed mini cone. ✨ Octopus + Caviar + Watermelon — unexpectedly refreshing combo. ✨ Daurade (Sea Bream) + Green Peas — tender, delicate, lovely. ✨ Artichoke & Black Truffle Soup + Mushroom Brioche — incredibly aromatic. Served with shiny, fluffy brioche for dipping (might be rich if you’re not into creamy mushroom soups). ✨ A5 Wagyu + Lobster + Ravioli — top-tier proteins, perfectly executed. Topped with a tangy foam to cut through the richness. ✨ Cheese Course — cheese scraped tableside onto crackers. By this point I was pretty full, and the cheese was… strong and salty 😅. ✨ Palate Cleanser — berry sorbet, bright and refreshing. ✨ Autour du Chocolat — a plate with seven chocolates, each different in sweetness and texture. So fun! ✨ Petit Four Cart — could barely eat more by then, but everything I tried was delicious. Paired well with coffee to balance the sweetness. #LasVegas #Vegas #LasVegasFood #FineDining #FrenchCuisine #FoodExploration
