🍣 Vegas Raku｜High Expectations Can Lead to Disappointment The foie gras rice was good, but the service… really? 🙃 👀 I’d heard so many recommendations calling Raku a must-try in Vegas, but after trying it, I’d say it’s just “fine.” The food had some highlights, but the service was so off-putting that it kind of killed the mood… 🥢 Recommended Dishes: 🍚 Foie Gras Rice ➤ The one standout main dish — fragrant seared foie gras over perfectly cooked rice, rich but not heavy. Highly recommend! 🍵 Matcha Pudding ➤ Strong tea flavor, smooth texture, not too sweet — a pleasant way to end the meal. 🍰 Desserts That Were Just Okay (Nothing Special): 🥄 The other two desserts were… average at best. Neither the texture nor presentation was memorable. The cheesecake was overly rich — wouldn’t order it again. 🍣 Sashimi & Skewers: 🍣 Sashimi — Decent but not impressive. The uni was fresh but not mind-blowing. 🥩 Wagyu Skewers — Tasted fine, but overpriced for what you get. 🧊 The Service Was Really Disappointing: ❌ Extremely slow food delivery ❌ Multiple missed orders — we had to ask repeatedly for the wagyu skewers (one at a time, seriously?) ❌ Staff attitude wasn’t the friendliest either… ☑️ On a positive note — the water was really good!
