Vegas Viral Hot Pot Spot — The X Pot!

This time let's talk about the super-hyped, premium hot pot restaurant inside The Palazzo — The X Pot! The photos online look insane—golden bull platters, black swan pastries, all the bells and whistles for the 'gram. So we decided to give it a try and see if it’s worth the hype… ✨ Pros: Presentation & Gimmicks — Made for Photos Let’s be real—the plating and theatrics here are next level. That smoking golden bull meat platter and delicate black swan pastries definitely made us go “wow” when they arrived. If you’re just looking for an Instagrammable dining experience, this place delivers on drama. 🥲 Cons: Flavor & Service — Not Worth the Price But! The soul of hot pot lies in the broth and ingredients, and this is where X Pot really let us down… ✖️ Broth is bland: We tried the golden chicken broth and tomato broth—both were surprisingly weak and lacking depth. The chicken broth tasted no better than something from Costco 😬. ✖️ Meat quality is just okay: Even the so-called high-end Wagyu felt pretty average. Maybe there’s better stuff, but my wallet couldn’t reach that tier 🥲. ✖️ Service is meh: Not the attentive, polished service you’d expect at this price point. Felt pretty standard, and some staff even came off as a bit standoffish. ✖️ Other dishes were forgettable: Nothing else on the menu really stood out. Overall, The X Pot feels like a restaurant where style completely overshadows substance. If you’re just here for the over-the-top presentation and a flashy photo op, you might enjoy it. But if you’re actually craving a delicious, high-quality hot pot meal that justifies the price—Nuts Mom says: run! 🏃‍♀️💨 At $200+ per person, Vegas has so many better dining options for that kind of money. This “IQ tax” — I’ve already paid it for you. 🤦‍♀️ 📍 The X Pot Las Vegas Grand Canal Shoppes at The Palazzo, 3327 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109 🅿️ Parking: Park at The Palazzo or The Venetian garages. #LasVegas #VegasFood #TheXPot #LasVegasFoodWarnings #Vegas
