Versailles: Little Havana's Hottest Spot 🔥
📍 Versailles Restaurante Cubano It's about a 10-minute drive from Little Havana, and this place is insanely popular—we arrived around 3 PM, and still waited nearly an hour! There's a small bar outside for cooling off, so we grabbed a pina colada to tide us over 🥥. It’s a bit pricey at over $12 a glass, and we finished it before even getting seated 🙂↕️ 🍽️ Dish Reviews Braised Beef 🥩: The meat is tender enough to fall apart with a fork, but the flavor is on the salty side. It pairs perfectly with rice 🍚 to balance it out—hearty home cooking, solid but not mind-blowing. Seafood Stew 🦞: So good! Finally had a version with rich tomato flavor—shrimp, shellfish, and squid are smothered in tangy, sweet tomato sauce 🍅. The seafood’s freshness shines through, and we polished it off with rice. The fried banana that comes with it is a nice surprise 🍌—sweet, crispy, and a great match for the savory seafood. Cuban Coffee ☕️: A classic case of "hot and cold"—the coffee is both sweet and bitter, and the accompanying milk is scalding hot. In Miami’s sweltering heat ☀️, it was hard to finish more than a few sips. Crème Caramel 🍮: Rich and creamy, with a firmer, more velvety texture than regular pudding. The caramel’s sweetness and milkiness blend perfectly—delicious and refreshing after the meal~ Despite the long wait and the so-so coffee, the seafood stew and fried banana make it worth a visit. If you’re craving authentic Cuban food in Miami, this spot is a must-try! #food #FoodieGirls #ExperienceForeignCuisine #StudyAbroadEats #Cuba #CubanFood #Miami
