Vessel—Climbing the City's Art in New York's Hudson Yards(2)

✨ Every detail of Vessel has been meticulously customized, from the handcrafted connectors to the copper-colored metal cladding on the underside of the stairs, all showcasing the excellence of craftsmanship. 🍃🌸The 75 large steel components of this structure were produced in Venice, Italy, transported across the Atlantic six times, and finally assembled on-site, a process that took three years in total. Despite its massive size, Vessel is still designed on a human scale, encouraging climbing and exploration, and has become a new social hub in New York. 🌀 Vessel is the iconic building of Hudson Yards, with a simple yet vibrant design. People climb and interact within it, the reflected light between the stairs and the plaza below creates a dynamic public space.
