Vesta Coffee Roasters – A Cozy Coffee Spot Where You Pick the Beans!

Met up with a friend for a walk through the Arts District and finally visited Vesta Coffee — a relaxed, welcoming spot where you can choose your own coffee beans for your brew! While it’s not hand-brewed (and Vegas seriously lacks pour-over options), just being able to pick the beans felt like a small victory 🎉 I didn’t realize until after ordering that their default is cold brew — but hey, at least the beans were my choice! And their croissants? Huge, beautiful, and totally Instagram-worthy 🥐✨ Since moving to Vegas, I’ve missed Stockholm’s coffee culture so much — like sipping two small pots of hand-brewed coffee at Drop Coffee, trying different beans with pure joy. Here in the U.S., I’ve bought beans from everywhere — Portland, local roasters, you name it — but nothing matches the rich, bold flavor of even a basic bag from a Swedish supermarket. Is it an American taste preference? Because most Americanos I’ve tried in Vegas taste like… slightly brown water 💧 As for Vesta’s cold brew — let’s just say it was subtle. Next time, I’ll try their batch brew with an extra shot (or three) and make sure to say: “VERY strong, I mean it!” 👀 Funny how coffee has become my number one nostalgia trigger for Scandinavia. Flavor ties us to memory and emotion in ways we don’t even realize. We’re strange, wonderful creatures — connected through taste, scent, and sip. #VestaCoffee #VegasCoffee #ArtsDistrict #CoffeeNostalgia #BeanLife
