A relaxing 4-day, 3-night trip to Vienna 🏰 — riding a horse carriage through the Old Town admiring beautiful architecture, exploring palaces and museums, shopping on Graben Street 🛍️, picking souvenirs, and enjoying coffee ☕ and pastries at a corner café. A non-"special forces" style trip can be just as wonderful! 📍 Citywalk Attractions are marked on the map. Staying in the city center means everything is within walking distance 🚶. Highly recommend joining guided tours at the Opera House, Golden Hall, and Kunsthistorisches Museum — much better than rushing through on your own! 🎁 Souvenirs + Shopping 🛍️ Graben Street is great for shopping ‼️ Brands and stock are plentiful — I found two lovely 👛 here. Everything can be tax-refunded at the airport. Also, plenty of souvenir shops for gifts: 🌟 Vienna Opera Store The gift shop under the State Opera is a must-visit ‼️ 🎹🎻🎷🎼 So many music-themed items — absolutely adorable 💥 Don’t miss it! 🌟 World of Souvenirs Two floors filled with fridge magnets, tote bags, t-shirts, ornaments, notebooks, mugs… you name it. You’ll leave loaded! 🌟 Best of Austria Near St. Stephen’s Cathedral ⛪️ — cute fridge magnets, instrument pins, keychains, and more. Spoilt for choice! 🌟 Manner Available almost everywhere, but since it’s from Vienna (labeled “WIEN”), it’s worth grabbing some. 🌟 Airport Duty-free shops offer an extra 15% tax refund after tax-free prices ‼️ Limited options (cosmetics, alcohol, chocolates, tea, canned goods, small toys), but great value. Perfect for last-minute souvenir shopping before boarding. 💰 Tax Refund Located at the far left after entering the airport. ⚠️⚠️⚠️ MUST process tax refund BEFORE checking luggage ‼️‼️‼️ High-value items will be inspected — keep them in one bag for easy checking. Items carried onboard (clothes/bags/jewelry) are processed at another counter after security. If all tax-refund items are carry-on, skip the first counter and go directly inside. 😔 This time, I missed the Mozart concert — quite a regret.
