Vietnamese 🦞 Seafood Hot Pot Street Stall!
This Vietnamese restaurant, specializing in Thai and Vietnamese hot pots, is truly fantastic—affordable, with generous portions and high-quality ingredients! The best part? Their appetizers are absolutely amazing! 💜 The grilled scallops here are exceptional! I think they’re even better than those at Dong Que—larger and more tender. You don’t need much sauce; the natural flavor is incredibly aromatic. 💜 I initially hesitated to order the shrimp and egg pancake since it’s a common dish elsewhere. But the server was surprised I didn’t order it, and it turns out it’s a must-have dish here. It’s incredibly delicious—far better than others I’ve tried. The pancake is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, with a chewy rice batter and fragrant dried shrimp on top. Paired with the generous side dishes and fresh green papaya, it’s a perfect combination of crispy, fresh, and aromatic 😋. 💜 As for the seafood hot pot 🍲, I was initially skeptical based on the online photos and descriptions. I thought it wouldn’t be very tasty, but I decided to give it a try out of curiosity. Surprisingly, it was much better than I expected! The ingredients are actually quite fresh, especially the seafood. I chose the Thai spicy broth, which is flavorful and slightly sweet, and I think it’s better than the Thai hot pots in most Chinese restaurants. The accompanying noodles and vegetables 🥬 make a perfect, appetizing Thai rice noodle dish when you add some broth. 🤪 #SouthBay #SanFrancisco #RestaurantDiscovery #VietnameseCuisine #ThaiHotPot #GrilledSeafood #VietnameseStreetFood
