The section of Lombard Street between Hyde Street and Leavenworth Street has eight sharp turns within a short stretch, forming a "Z" - shaped steep slope with a gradient of up to 40 degrees. Vehicles can only go downhill in one direction. They have to circle around the flower beds, and the speed limit is no more than 5 miles per hour. It's a unique test of driving skills.
