Virginia Beach: Perfect Spot for Water Fun + Camping! 🌊⛺️

📍 Westmoreland State Park ⛳️ 145 Cliff Rd, Montross, VA 22520 💰 $10 parking fee on holidays | Free after 5 PM Today was Father’s Day 👨‍👧‍👦, and we had no plans—so my partner suddenly suggested a trip to this park! With great Google reviews, we decided to check it out. The park has three camping areas 🏕️: One for tents Two for RVs and campers If you prefer not to camp in a tent, you can also rent cute little cabins 🏡 ($85–150 depending on type). ⚠️ Book early! July cabins are already fully reserved. There are two beach areas here: 1️⃣ Fossil Beach 🦷🦈 A 10-minute walk from the main area Everyone brings their own sifting tools to hunt for shark teeth! 👧🔍 Kids and adults alike love digging here—super fun! 2️⃣ Main Beach 🏖️ Perfect for swimming, grilling, boating, and jet skiing 🚤 Deeper water, great for playing and relaxing Packed with families having BBQs 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦🍗 The water is relatively shallow near the shore, making it safe and enjoyable for little ones. 💦 I highly recommend this place—whether you’re into camping, beach fun, fossil hunting, or just a relaxing day outside!
